Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Miss Rani Dancing by Antonio Blanco was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 21,675.00 (€ 2,411.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Blanco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Balinese Woman With Child in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,140,000.00 (€ 312,594.54).
