Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Antonio Bandeira for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,412.02). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Bandeira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ville in March this year with an auction result of USD 856,800.00 (€ 788,079.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Antonio Bandeira für USD 23.750,00 (€ 17.412,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Bandeira erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ville im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 856.800,00 (€ 788.079,47).
