Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Composition by Antonio Bandeira was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 10,059.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Bandeira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ville in March this year with an auction result of USD 856,800.00 (€ 788,079.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Antonio Bandeira kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 10.059,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Bandeira erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ville im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 856.800,00 (€ 788.079,47).
