The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,637.88) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonín Procházka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech still Life (Zátiší) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 87,675.39).

Die Arbeit Czech half Nude Girl (Dívčí Poloakt) von Antonín Procházka wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.637,88) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonín Procházka erzielen.
