Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Czech Head by Antonín Procházka. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,857.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonín Procházka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech still Life (Zátiší) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 87,675.39).
