Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Antonín Procházka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2011. In the The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art auction, the work Czech by The Window (U Okna) sold for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,126.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonín Procházka - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Czech still Life (Zátiší), which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 79,250.00 (€ 87,675.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonín Procházka erzielte im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Hascoe Family Collection: Important Czech Art wurde die Arbeit Czech by The Window (U Okna) für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.126,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonín Procházka mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Czech still Life (Zátiší) beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 79.250,00 (€ 87.675,39) versteigert wurde.
