It achieved a price of USD 3,187.50 (€ 3,258.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Otto Fischer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Great Armada, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 10,575.00 (€ 12,461.70).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 3.258,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Otto Fischer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Great Armada beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für USD 10.575,00 (€ 12.461,70) versteigert wurde.
