Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Conuco En Los Valles De Aragua Con El Lago De Valencia Al Extremo Derecho by Anton Goering. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,848.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Anton Goering have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Group Of 17 Landscapes Of Venezuela in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 81,806.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Conuco En Los Valles De Aragua Con El Lago De Valencia Al Extremo Derecho von Anton Goering zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.848,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Goering auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Group Of 17 Landscapes Of Venezuela im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 81.806,28).
