Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, 19th Century & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Travellers with their horses in a winter landscape, skaters on a frozen pond beyond by Anton Crussens. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,609.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Crussens - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape With A Man Carrying A Load Of Wood, Windmills And A Castle In The Distance, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,175.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master, 19th Century & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Travellers with their horses in a winter landscape, skaters on a frozen pond beyond von Anton Crussens zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.609,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Crussens mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter Landscape With A Man Carrying A Load Of Wood, Windmills And A Castle In The Distance beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.175,88) versteigert wurde.
