Auction result fails to reach estimate
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Zwei Kälber im Gebirge by Anton Braith for EUR 1,935.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte Kunst at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 2,500.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Braith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heimkehr im Sturm: herding the flock in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 24,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Zwei Kälber im Gebirge von Anton Braith für EUR 1.935,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte Kunst bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Braith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Heimkehr im Sturm: herding the flock im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.000,00.
