Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Christies held the auction Julians Park and Six Private Collections: Live, which included the work Portrait Of Mme. Delahaye, Three-Quarter-Length, In A White Décolleté Dress by Antoine Vestier. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,044.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Vestier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autoportrait De L'Artiste, which sold at auction in March 2016 for EUR 119,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Julians Park and Six Private Collections: Live durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Mme. Delahaye, Three-Quarter-Length, In A White Décolleté Dress von Antoine Vestier zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.044,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Vestier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autoportrait De L'Artiste beobachtet, die im März 2016 für EUR 119.600,00 versteigert wurde.
