In February 2014 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures, Frames, which included the work Trois-Mâts Au Large by Antoine Roux Père. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,516.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Roux Père have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O. Im Februar 2014 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Miniatures, Frames durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trois-Mâts Au Large von Antoine Roux Père zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.516,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Roux Père auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O.
