Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work "La Décidée Commandée Par L'Enseigne De Vaisseau J Ques L Rent Gaffarel" by Antoine Roux Père. The price achieved of EUR 4,891.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Roux Père - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O. De L'Ile St Pierre / Environ Vingt Lieux. Le 30 Novembre 1811 " Et " Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Attaq, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 11,841.00.

Im März 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit "La Décidée Commandée Par L'Enseigne De Vaisseau J Ques L Rent Gaffarel" von Antoine Roux Père zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.891,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
