Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work "La Borée" by Antoine Roux Père. The price achieved of EUR 2,574.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Roux Père have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.574,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
