Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2012 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work Navire Battant Pavillon Français by Antoine Roux Père. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,544.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Roux Père have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O. De L'Ile St Pierre / Environ Vingt Lieux. Le 30 Novembre 1811 " Et " Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Attaq in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 11,841.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Navire Battant Pavillon Français von Antoine Roux Père zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.544,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Roux Père auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O.
