Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work Deux-Mâts Battant Pavillon Anglais by Antoine Roux Père. The price achieved of EUR 1,364.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Roux Père have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O. De L'Ile St Pierre / Environ Vingt Lieux. Le 30 Novembre 1811 " Et " Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Attaq in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 11,841.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deux-Mâts Battant Pavillon Anglais von Antoine Roux Père zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.364,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Roux Père auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Corsaires Les Trois Monts Rouges Cap Ne F Cois Rougemont Capturant Le Brick Anglais Le Mantor Cap Ne Brayn A L'O.S.O.
