Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Bateau Le Nautonnier by Mathieu-Antoine Roux for EUR 3,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Paintings and Drawings at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Mathieu-Antoine Roux have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2006 by the work Spanische Bark "Iginio S. Capto. Tom. Randich" vor Marseille at EUR 4,760.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Bateau Le Nautonnier von Mathieu-Antoine Roux für EUR 3.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Drawings bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Mathieu-Antoine Roux wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2006 die Arbeit Spanische Bark "Iginio S. Capto. Tom. Randich" vor Marseille mit EUR 4.760,00.
