Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boulevard de la Madeleine by Antoine Blanchard was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,269.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Blanchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place de la Madelaine; and Une marché aux fleurs in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 22,325.00 (€ 32,082.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boulevard de la Madeleine von Antoine Blanchard wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.269,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Blanchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Place de la Madelaine; and Une marché aux fleurs im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.325,00 (€ 32.082,24).
