Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Porte St. Denis, Paris by Antoine Blanchard was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,193.83), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Antoine Blanchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place de la Madelaine; and Une marché aux fleurs in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 22,325.00 (€ 32,082.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Porte St. Denis, Paris von Antoine Blanchard wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.193,83) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Blanchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Place de la Madelaine; and Une marché aux fleurs im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.325,00 (€ 32.082,24).
