Upper estimate price exceeded by 88 %.
This artwork by Anto Carte achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2017. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Tireur À L'Arc sold for EUR 150,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anto Carte - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Pain, which sold at auction in March 2019 for EUR 516,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anto Carte erzielte im März 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Tireur À L'Arc für EUR 150.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anto Carte mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Pain beobachtet, die im März 2019 für EUR 516.500,00 versteigert wurde.
