Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Turkish Interior by Anthony Fry. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,966.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Fry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Palace With Cow And Lovers In Hall in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 44,550.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Turkish Interior von Anthony Fry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.966,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Fry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Palace With Cow And Lovers In Hall im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 44.550,94).
