Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Johnny Cash and Rosanne Cash, Hiltons, Virginia by Annie Leibovitz was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 6,375.00 (€ 5,983.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Leibovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Keith Haring, New York City in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,942.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Johnny Cash and Rosanne Cash, Hiltons, Virginia von Annie Leibovitz kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.375,00 (€ 5.983,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annie Leibovitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Keith Haring, New York City im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 81.942,14).
