In September 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Baby, Baby by Anne Imhof. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,201.23), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anne Imhof have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June this year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,653.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baby, Baby von Anne Imhof zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.201,23) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anne Imhof auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.653,27).
