Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Anna-Eva Bergman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Grand miroir d'argent sur fond noir sold for GBP 101,100.00 (€ 117,780.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna-Eva Bergman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work N°8-1955 4 formes - 1955, which sold at auction in December this year for EUR 328,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna-Eva Bergman erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Grand miroir d'argent sur fond noir für GBP 101.100,00 (€ 117.780,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna-Eva Bergman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit N°8-1955 4 formes - 1955 beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für EUR 328.000,00 versteigert wurde.
