A top price for Anna Airy - as previously expected
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction (Women) Artists, which included the work Young April by Anna Airy. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,408.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Young April is the most expensive artwork by Anna Airy that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion (Women) Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young April von Anna Airy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.408,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Young April das teuerste Kunstwerk von Anna Airy, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
