Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Self Portrait by Anju Dodiya was sold in the South Asian Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in December 2018. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,570.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anju Dodiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cocoon in September last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 334,866.61).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Self Portrait von Anju Dodiya wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.570,44) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anju Dodiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cocoon im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 334.866,61).
