The work Flame Play by Anju Dodiya was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 40,000.00 (€ 34,062.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Anju Dodiya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cocoon in September last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 334,866.61).

Die Arbeit Flame Play von Anju Dodiya kam im März 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 34.062,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anju Dodiya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cocoon im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 334.866,61).
