Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maze of Slowness by Anju Dodiya was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 17,640.00 (€ 20,898.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anju Dodiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cocoon in September last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 334,866.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maze of Slowness von Anju Dodiya kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.640,00 (€ 20.898,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anju Dodiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cocoon im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 334.866,61).
