Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Anish Kapoor was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 508,000.00 (€ 465,713.24). Admittedly, works by Anish Kapoor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,945,250.00 (€ 2,471,462.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anish Kapoor wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 508.000,00 (€ 465.713,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anish Kapoor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.945.250,00 (€ 2.471.462,02).
