Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue de Ponticonissi, Corfou by Angelos Giallina was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,550.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angelos Giallina achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Corfu in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vue de Ponticonissi, Corfou von Angelos Giallina wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.550,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angelos Giallina erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Corfu im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.100,00 (€ 30.945,72).
