In May this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Corfu by Angelos Giallina. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,295.00 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angelos Giallina achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Corfu in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Corfu von Angelos Giallina zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.295,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angelos Giallina erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Corfu im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.100,00 (€ 30.945,72).
