This artwork by Angelos Giallina achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the The Greek Sale auction, the work Greek View Of Corfu sold for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 25,904.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Angelos Giallina; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Greek Corfu sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72).
