Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Eros Guéridon (Eros Side Table); Sorella Table Lamp; Cup; Bowl (Four Works) by Angelo Mangiarotti was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,180.47). Other works by Angelo Mangiarotti have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2016 by the work Deux Bols - Circa 1962 at EUR 5,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Eros Guéridon (Eros Side Table); Sorella Table Lamp; Cup; Bowl (Four Works) von Angelo Mangiarotti im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.180,47) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Angelo Mangiarotti wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2016 die Arbeit Deux Bols - Circa 1962 mit EUR 5.850,00.
