In May 2012 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art 2, which included the work Paysage Ou Harmonie Rose, Circa 1923 by Ángel Zárraga. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 32,240.00 61% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ángel Zárraga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La novia in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 305,919.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Ou Harmonie Rose, Circa 1923 von Ángel Zárraga zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 32.240,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ángel Zárraga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La novia im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 292.000,00 (€ 305.919,33).
