Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oiseaux No. 4 by Ángel Zárraga was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 47,267.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ángel Zárraga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La novia in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 305,919.33).
