Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work TBC-007 by Angel Otero for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,112.09). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angel Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figuring You Out in November last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 317,349.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit TBC-007 von Angel Otero für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.112,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angel Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figuring You Out im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 317.349,61).
