Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ang Kiukok was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,320.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ang Kiukok have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,760,000.00 (€ 356,804.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ang Kiukok kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.320,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ang Kiukok auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishermen im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.760.000,00 (€ 356.804,47).
