The work Black & White Still Life #4 by Ang Kiukok was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 1,187,500.00 (€ 130,106.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ang Kiukok - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishermen, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 3,760,000.00 (€ 356,804.47).

Die Arbeit Black & White Still Life #4 von Ang Kiukok kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.187.500,00 (€ 130.106,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ang Kiukok mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishermen beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 3.760.000,00 (€ 356.804,47) versteigert wurde.
