The work BANANAS by Ang Kiukok was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 30,464.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ang Kiukok achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishermen in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,760,000.00 (€ 356,804.47).

Die Arbeit BANANAS von Ang Kiukok kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 30.464,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ang Kiukok erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishermen im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.760.000,00 (€ 356.804,47).
