The work Christ Crucified by Ang Kiukok was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,405.56), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ang Kiukok have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,760,000.00 (€ 356,804.47).

Die Arbeit Christ Crucified von Ang Kiukok wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.405,56) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ang Kiukok auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishermen im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.760.000,00 (€ 356.804,47).
