Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Softball And Retired Shoe #4 by Andy Yoder was sold in the Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Online Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,125.00 (€ 922.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Andy Yoder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Licorice Shoes in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,842.21).

Die Arbeit Softball And Retired Shoe #4 von Andy Yoder wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Fields of Vision: The Private Collection of Artists Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Online Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 922,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andy Yoder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Licorice Shoes im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.842,21).
