Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hay Day by Andrew Wyeth was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 693,000.00 (€ 627,717.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Day Dream in November last year with an auction result of USD 23,290,000.00 (€ 22,561,270.95).
