Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Dress by Andrew Wyeth was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 210,050.00 (€ 192,565.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Day Dream in November last year with an auction result of USD 23,290,000.00 (€ 22,561,270.95).
