Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cormorants by Andrew Wyeth was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 51,200.00 (€ 46,938.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Day Dream in November last year with an auction result of USD 23,290,000.00 (€ 22,561,270.95).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 51.200,00 (€ 46.938,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
