Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Sailboat on the Beach by Andrew Winter for USD 5,377.50 (€ 5,489.49). This price was achieved in the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Winter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing Vessel at Dock, which sold at auction in July 2002 for USD 15,535.00 (€ 15,858.51).

Im Juli 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sailboat on the Beach von Andrew Winter für USD 5.377,50 (€ 5.489,49) erwerben.
