This work of art by Andrew Winter could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work A Little Harbor Light changed hands for USD 7,800.00 (€ 6,468.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Winter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing Vessel at Dock, which sold at auction in July 2002 for USD 15,535.00 (€ 15,858.51).
