A top price for Andrew Gamley - as previously expected
The work Gullane Golf Course by Andrew Gamley was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2006. The price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,996.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gullane Golf Course is the most expensive artwork by Andrew Gamley that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Gullane Golf Course von Andrew Gamley kam im August 2006 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.996,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Gullane Golf Course das teuerste Kunstwerk von Andrew Gamley, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
