A top price for Andrew Gamley - as previously expected
The work Gullane Golf Course by Andrew Gamley was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2006. The price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,996.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gullane Golf Course is the most expensive artwork by Andrew Gamley that we have observed at auctions so far.
