Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Ruins of The Kirk At Holyrood Palace by Andrew Gamley for GBP 192.00 (€ 275.10). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Gamley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gullane Golf Course in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,996.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ruins of The Kirk At Holyrood Palace von Andrew Gamley für GBP 192,00 (€ 275,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrew Gamley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gullane Golf Course im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.996,53).
