In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Construction Site by Andrei Grositsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,586.70), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Andrei Grositsky; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Russian Bull, 1990 sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,255.65).
