Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'Beer' And 'Composition With Lamp' Two Works by Andrei Grositsky was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 661.84). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrei Grositsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Bull, 1990 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,255.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'Beer' And 'Composition With Lamp' Two Works von Andrei Grositsky im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 750,00 (€ 661,84) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrei Grositsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Bull, 1990 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 15.255,65).
